UNIVERSITY and basically nothing else.

OK so a million years ago when I switched computers and subsequently stopped playing my sims, Chekov was just about to turn into a teen. I have recently made the effort to switch my sims over to my new computer (oh man that took ages) so I played them some. I actually had more pictures but my computer is lame and so 19 are all I have left.

TO START

Curry turned into an elder.

And then Chekov had his birthday and turned into a teen! Curry creeped.

Here is his teen portrait. I am iffy on his looks, though I think he will be better looking than Carter at least.

So I had him call the university right away, since I'd never played it I was eager to get into it. So NEXT is his young adult portrait, which is more or less exactly the same.

Yep. He looks a lot better in game. He doesn't come out well in portraits.

SOO since dear Chekov is starting university he needed a LADY FRIEND!

Meet Cho! She is fab. And I never give girls short hair but I love it on her.

Chekov is a knowledge sim and loves school. I believe Cho is a romance sim, though she doesn't really act like it. She basically hates school.

Cho is a bit annoying, it is so hard to get onto her good side. But they finally made their way to the first kiss. In front of the garbage can, lovely.

Every time Cho gets home from class she bird watches. I don't even know. She's not into nature.

So this university thing isn't all that hard, this is how it was EVERY semester. For both of them.

Even though they spent hours upon hours "blowing bubbles"

OH GOD the mascots SUCK. This one came in, terrorized everyone, and then sat down and did someone else's assignment.

AND THEN THIS HAPPENED!! I didn't even see it till this. Btw this is a different cow then the other. It is a boy, the other is a girl. So anyway I guess Cho caught Chekov cheating on her with this damn cow! WTF! And then the cow smacked her around!

Although her memory of it is completely backward? I don't know because like I said, I actually missed it.

But she was all kinds of furious with Chekov. And I was close to having them get engaged!

Well after a full semester of apologizing and getting back on Cho's good side, Chekov managed to propose AND she said yes. He spends all his time in pyjamas. It's how he goes to class and everything.

They both managed to graduate with honours, which was a major want of Chekov's (Cho couldn't care less)

MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE REGULAR HOUSE

Carter gets an A+, promises to be as big of a nerd as his brother.

That's actually all (honestly I had more of the University experience, but my computer hates me). I've got to get Chai and Carter aged up and sent off so Cho and Chekov can move in now.

AGING UP
EVERY DAY OCCURRENCES
VACATION

SO last time there were loads of babies! Let's get started.

If you will remember, at the end of the last post the Adams Family moved from 202 Welsh Lane to ... ANCHORAGE, ALASKA. I took a couple pictures of the house:

This is the main floor. Nice big kitchen that actually has enough chairs for everyone! And plenty to keep everyone occupied.

Upstairs! Bedrooms. The boys share and Chai gets her own. This is a little outdated, no longer using cribs! The only thing that annoys me about this house is most of them decide to use the stairs OUTSIDE to get to the upper level. There is clearly a perfectly good staircase indoors, and it is much faster. Oh sims.

I just like it when sims do cute things on their own. Ben decided to squeeze Bea.

I sent Bea shopping because the kids would need clothes when they aged up. She worried the whole time for no reason.

Cater aged up into a toddler! He is a lot like Chekov.

Chai aged up as well and with a bit of a makeover she no longer gives me nightmares!

Curry got into a fight with a dog, seemingly not remembering he is nearly an elder. He lost.

Time for another birthday!

Carter turns into a child.

Chai did this all on her own with no warning the next day. I found her like this upstairs. UGH MAXIS HAIR.

So I figured someone in the house ought to work. Belafonte got the short straw. I hate these things! I chose "Order By Color"

SO NERVE WRACKING. At least it worked out well.

Family dinner at the finally-big-enough table.

Next morning after breakfast Chai and Carter decided to have a pillow fight in the kitchen.

It was cute.

Bea, you're bothering me. Make a plate.

Ben was feeling like he didn't do enough with the kids. So he read to Carter.

And then Chai.

Then Curry decided it would be a good idea to act like real life cats and eat the muffin left on the counter.

I just enjoy watching sims cook. Look at the cuteness going on behind him haha

VACATION TIME!

Chekov is due to become a teenager in one day, so I figured it was about time to take a family vacation. Bea booked them into the Three Lakes Cabins.

Shortly after arriving and getting settled (they took the back three cabins), I sent them on their first tour. A nature walk!

Oh god not more of these! I chose the first option.

Oh, bummer.

Later that night Bea relaxed with a book in the hammock.

The next day they set about digging for treasure. It didn't go so well for Ben and Belafonte, but Bea found a rock!

Chai showed off her skills in a chess match.

The second attempt went much better! Bea found another rock. She is the Charlie Brown of my sims.

I decided to send them to another lot, where they all immediately went and ate. It was extremely hard keeping them full.

Later that night Belafonte and the kids had a marshmallow roast! What a good uncle.

On the last day the family went for their third tour (the question thing for the second tour, bird watching, disappeared on me!). This was something to do with logging ... Anyway, I again chose option 1.

Ah, much better.

It was time to go home, so Ben and Chai enjoyed one last dance.

And they were on their way!

That's all for now, it took ages to get through the vacation. Next update will probably see all the kids turning into teens and venturing off to university.

AGING UP

The last post saw the deaths of Jackson and Dug, big sad face all around about that, and the birth of baby Chekov and the adoption of puppy Maxxie.

FIRST OFF. A little Belafonte love. Chase came by and they greeted with the whole cheek kissing thing, it was adorbs.

So Amanda was making regular appearances and then I saw her snuggling with ghost!Hale and I did not know ghosts could interact with each other. In other news, I had to take her grave off the property because she was WREAKING HAVOC on my sims. In fact ...

She scared Bea to death. While she was pregnant, no less. How nice of her. I told Ben to come beg for her life, and Belafonte as well. Belafonte listened and came and pleaded with death.

He won. Ben ate Bea's cookies.

So Bea was able to have her second child, a BOY, named Carter.

Anyway, I was annoyed (extremely) that Bea had another boy so I got on the phone immediately and adopted a baby. HERE SHE IS. This was my first time adopting - say hello to Chai.

Maxxie aged up! He was a cuter puppy.

Carter aged up! Into a generic boy toddler!

So I was attempting to get my sims to do what I wanted, when this random guy I have never seen runs into my house and starts BEATING BELAFONTE! WTF (look how fab Belafonte is)

Belafonte was pissed OF COURSE. They pushed each other around some and then he left.

This is his only memory of it.

Chekov grew up! I gave him this hair because I figured he'd sort of idolize his uncle Belafonte, since Belafonte basically kept him alive throughout his infancy.

Thought I should give an updated family portrait. Though it is now outdated haha

Chai aged up and OH LORD KILL IT WITH FIRE.

My house was far too chaotic and small for 6 sims and 2 pets, so WE'RE MOVING! This is the old house. Say goodbye to 202 Welsh Lane.

Here's the new place! Much more spacious. The boys will bunk together and Chai will have her own room. It's going to be loads better.

The first thing Chekov did in the new house was play the violin.

And I stopped playing once I had gotten the house all settled because I was tired of dealing with my high maintenance sims. So next update will be Carter and Chai aging up to children!

When we left off all those weeks ago Amanda had just died and Hale had just made his first reappearance. Ben and Bea got married and Belafonte was doomed to die alone.

So first of all let's have some Dug love

After Hale died I adopted a new kitten and named him Curry.

Dug liked to cuddle him

Not so much when he grew up though

Dug took to sleeping with poor loveless Belafonte, because he's swell like that

He spent hours looking at his reflection in the mirror, though there are no reflections in my game lol

SO! After 500 tries, Bea got pregnant! Jackson had the want to have a grandchild and I was worried he'd die before she had it

Somebody made breakfast. I'm pretty sure I did this because I was afraid Jackson would just drop dead any time

Jackson is a nature sim and I caught him cloud watching amongst the dead

So I made him take Dug for a hike haha (I have obv decorated for Halloween)

BEA GOES INTO LABOUR! Jackson nearly has a heart attack.

Don't everyone looked thrilled all at once, or anything

So Jackson managed to stay alive for Chekov's birth!

But then later that day death came for him. He looks pretty resigned to the fact

I guess we know who the favourite was

OH GOD SADDEST DEATH EVER! The day after Jackson died Dug joined him. Curry was very sad.

SO since poor Belafonte wasn't getting any love I made him a friend and moved him into the beach house next door. His name is CHASE

He's fabulous of course

Lucky for me Belafonte came over to greet Chase

They immediately started talking about shoes

And then Chase made vegetable soup and they had a nice dinner together

Back at the main house, Amanda's ghost made it's first appearance. She is rather annoying, she waves her arms around thinking about bed as if she is tired. GO BACK TO YOUR GRAVE, THEN.

Not only did Ben burn his pancakes, but Amanda was rude and scared him. lol at the rotting dishes all over

NEW PUPPY!! I missed Dug so I got a new puppy named MAXXIE. Also, Amanda's ghost.

Belafonte being a good uncle. Bea is pregnant again and so is horrible and tired/hungry/unhappy/unable to do anything at all so he is being nice and picking up the slack.

THAT'S ALL for now. Chekov will grow up in like 8 hours and Bea should have this next kid in about a day. And I'll head over and play the beach house some for the next update :D:D

marriage, death, ghosts

Normally I only update Nicola about my sims but as I have been taking lots of pictures I decided to just make a post. Feel free to scroll past.

First things first, BEA grew up.

THIS IS BEN. I had Bea move out of the house when she became an adult and move in with him next door, so she would take his last name. They got off to a rocky start BUUUT

They are now happily married!

Even after Ben shoved cake in her face. I swear she is laughing and not crying. Also I have never had my sims do this. It was amusing.

They went off on their honeymoon and once they returned I had them move out of the temp house and back in with Jackson and Amanda. Because Amanda was nearing the end and I didn't want Bea to miss it.

OH NO. The end was as near as I thought. 6pm the day Amanda turned 69, death came. Seconds before she and Jackson had been slow dancing. It was adorbs.

Everyone took it pretty hard but Jackson stood there for AGES crying. Then he had a shower. And when he got out he cried for a while in the bathroom.

Nice of her not to pretend Beth and Branden don't exist the way I do.

THAT NIGHT HALE REAPPEARED!! First sims 2 ghost, first pet ghost EVER. He hung around ALL night. It was so cute, he just floated around. Dug watched him but did nothing.

At one point Hale jumped into my Dug-tub and had a bath LOL he also jumped into Amanda's headstone and made it jump around for a bit.

Let's take a second to remember Amanda. First sims 2 death.

Jackson's time will come soon.
