The dog is sick and she is making a point of this by consistently peeing everywhere. No pun intended, but it is getting to the stage where it is really pissing me off now.
I had a feeling I was in for a long day. My mum keeps her bedroom door open whereas mine is always locked, so if Candy needs to pee in the night she will walk into my mum's room. I didn't sleep much because I spent the night hearing my mum go up and down the stairs with the stupid dog (who kept falling down the stairs loudly, just in case I wasn't awake yet).
My mum leaves for work at 5am and I generally get up at 8am. In that time she pretty much peed in every room that we didn't close the door to. All over the stairs. The kitchen. The bathroom. The worst thing is with every puddle I cleared up I presumed it was the last and therefore just kept continually walking in pee >:(
As annoying as it was hearing her constantly coming downstairs and having to go and open the door every ten minutes, she has now lost the will to go downstairs at all and is just consistently peeing in one spot. I have cleaned this identical spot up four times. It has gotten to the stage where I am just leaving it. There is no point. When my mum comes home she is taking her to the vet and when she does this, then I will clear up that forsaken spot again. She is just going to keep peeing on it over and over again, I might as well just clean it all in one go.
Whenever she pees inside she is very sad about it. I believe that dogs feel guilt. Whenever Candy has accidentally peed somewhere she will hide from us, and when we find her she will look very sad. So if she is not at the door waiting for us when we come in, we generally know she has peed somewhere. I don't know why she does this. We have never hit her for peeing, but then she was a rescue dog so perhaps her previous owners are. I generally try and sneak up the stairs when I don't feel like interacting with her (she is deaf, so I just stay out of her eyeline) but today she was clearly waiting. She has peed on THAT DAMN SPOT about three times since I went downstairs and was lying so she was looking down the stairs so she could immediatley do the doggy version of apologising. I don't know why she continues to lie upstairs. Her bed has been moved downstairs so it is on the tiled floor and yet she is ignoring it completely and just lying where her bed normally is.
TL;DR: DOG PEE *shakes fist*
